Hearing Testing
At Bellevue Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic and SoundHearing, we care about your hearing and have been doing so for over 40 years. If you or someone else is experiencing difficulty, we’d like to help. We will test your hearing and one of our board-certified ENT physicians or audiologists can advise you on the best course of action for your individual hearing needs.
Hearing Aids
If hearing aids are recommended, we will schedule you for a complimentary Hearing Aid Evaluation to determine the best type of hearing aid for you. During this one-hour appointment, we will discuss your hearing problems and find out about the listening situations that are difficult for you. We will review the pros and cons of various technologies and styles of aids and determine which models best match your hearing loss, lifestyle and listening needs and budget.
Fitting
We dispense a wide variety of manufacturers and models. As an independent clinic, we are not limited to any one brand or model. This allows us to fit you with the right hearing instrument for your hearing loss and personal needs. We have sophisticated equipment to verify that the instruments are fit optimally. We provide a 30-day trial period on all of our hearing aids. If you are not completely satisfied, you can return the instruments(s) for a refund of all but $150 per aid, which constitutes a restocking fee.
Follow-up
We believe that follow-up care is critical to getting the most from your hearing aids so our commitment to you is long-term. We offer Complete Hearing Healthcare with every new hearing aid purchased from SoundHearing. We schedule appointments every six months to clean and adjust the aids and annually to test the aids electroacoustically and screen your hearing. These complimentary services are offered to ensure that your custom-fit and sophisticated instruments remain optimally maintained and adjusted for your hearing loss. We also supply batteries for the life of the instruments (typically 5 years) so we will see you periodically between your routine appointments to monitor your progress and address any concerns you may have.
